Meet Michelle
Hello, my name is Michelle McClelland, and I am the creator of The Photo Experience LLC, based in York, Nebraska.
Photography has always been more than just a profession for me — it is a way of preserving the stories, memories, and moments that shape our lives.
The Journey
From an early love of color, design, and visual storytelling, my path slowly evolved into a passion for photography and artistic expression. Over the years I developed a deep appreciation for light, composition, and the emotional connections found within images.
This passion grew alongside a love of history and community — the stories of families, towns, and the generations that came before us.
What The Photo Experience Represents
Today, The Photo Experience is built around three core ideas:
• Creating new memories through portrait photography
• Preserving the past through photo restoration
• Exploring artistic expression through fine art photography
Every photograph carries a story, and my goal is to honor both the memories of yesterday and the moments we are creating today.
MLM Fine Art Collective
Alongside my client work, I also pursue a deeper artistic exploration through MLM Fine Art Collective. This body of work focuses on landscape photography, infrared imagery, and artistic storytelling — capturing quiet moments, forgotten places, and the beauty found in the ordinary. Through this work I continue to explore the relationship between memory, place, and emotion.
